Cut flower care instructions
Substitute all leaves and foliage that may be below the water line in the vase otherwise they might rot. Leave the red and white roses packed in bunches and trim about half inch off of the bottom of the stems and put them in water. When you decorate with the red roses, cut the stems again and slowly remove any discolored or loose outer petals.
Verify the water supply instantly upon arrival. Fill a sink or bowl with water, fully submerge the stem ends underwater and cut them at a 45-degree angle using a scissors, pocket pruner or knife. Cutting your flower stems at a 45 degree angle will ensure that they have adequate surface area to receive water and that they don't sit flat on the bottom of the vase.
