Cut flower care instructions
Make sure that the liner, vase or container are filled with fresh water. For best results, use floral preservative, if you have it. Mix the preservative with moderately warm water, in the proportion suggested on the package. Even though the box has floral foam, it is better to keep the water level high to achieve long lasting flowers.
Check vase water level almost every day. Add water with preservative as needed. If the water changes state to cloudy, substitute the entire vase water with clean flower food water. Remove foliage that will fall under the water level in your vase. Often cut again stems half inch. The fresh cut controls good water flow through the flower stem.
Wedding flowers
If you want to save some money on wedding flowers use blooms that are available, ready and in season. They cost less than flowers that are out of season. Don't forget that all flowers are more expensive in the month of February because of Valentine's Day.
Although roses are the flower most commonly associated with the red color, there are other other red flowers such as Gerbera daisies, Orchids and Tulips for a bride who wishes to add some red blossoms to her wedding day.
Sympathy flowers

Most funeral homes, churches and mortuaries have a visitation, viewing or wake where friends and associates come to pay their respects. Suitable sympathy flower etiquette is to send sympathy flowers or Sympathy roses to the church, mortuary or funeral home prior to the initial visitation hours.
