Cut flower care instructions
Check vase water level almost every day. Add water with flower food as recomended. If the water turns cloudy, replace the entire vase water with new preservative water. Replace foliage that is going to fall below the water level in your vase. Every other day re-cut stems one-half of an inch. This fresh cut insures good water uptake through the flower stem.
Ensure that the liner, vase or container are filled with fresh water. For very good results, preferred method is to use floral preservative, if provided. Mix the preservative with lukewarm water, in the proportion advised on the package. Even if the container has floral foam, you should keep the water level high to achieve long lasting flowers.
Wedding flowers
When you are visiting the wedding florist, look the products in their display cases. If the items in the display cases look fresh it is usually a good indication that they take pride in providing high quality products and services.
Wedding centerpieces are a great way to establish the theme of your wedding. The basic idea that works well for the most modern arrangements is to to plunge the whole flower in water. This can be tried with roses, cymbidium orchids and tulips.

Most churches, funeral homes and mortuaries have a wake, visitation or viewing where friends and associates come to pay their respects. Appropriate sympathy flower manners are to send Sympathy Baskets or Sympathy flowers to the mortuary, funeral home or church prior to the first visitation hours.
Sympathy Sprays are Appropriate for delivery to the mortuary, funeral home or church. These beautiful specialty arrangements are displayed on a stand and make beautiful presentation.
