Cut flower care instructions
Verify vase water level often. Add water with preservative as necessary. If the water becomes cloudy, substitute the entire vase water with room temperature flower food water. Replace foliage that will fall under the water line in your vase. Almost every day cut again stems half inch. This guarantees good water flow through the flower stem.
Replace all leaves and foliage that may be below the water line in the vase otherwise they will rot. Leave the thornless roses packed in bunches and trim about half inch off of the bottom of the stems and put them in water. When you decorate with the red and white roses, cut the stems one more time and cautiously remove any loose or discolored petals.
Wedding flowers
Modern wedding centerpieces are the perfect way to create the theme of your wedding. The basic idea that works well for wedding centerpieces is to submerge the whole flower in water. You can accomplish this with cymbidium orchids, roses and tulips.
It may be better to stay with the professionals. Even if you are a plant expert, you're still going to be too busy in the days prior to your big event and on the actual day of your wedding to handle the floral arrangements yourself.
Sympathy flowers
Sympathy plants and sympathy baskets are traditionally sent to the mortuary, funeral home or church. Most churches, mortuaries and funeral homes have a wake, viewing or visitation where friends and associates come to pay their respects. Appropriate sympathy flower manners are to send sympathy flowers or Sympathy roses to the funeral home, mortuary or church before the first visitation hours.
Sympathy Sprays are Suitable for delivery to the funeral home, mortuary or church. These stunning specialty arrangements are displayed on a stand and make stunning presentation.
