Cut flower care instructions
Ensure the water supply right away upon arrival. Fill a sink or bowl with water, completely submerge the stems underwater and cut them at a 45-degree angle using a scissors, knife or pocket pruner. Cutting your flower stem ends at a 45° angle will assure that they have enough surface area to take in water and that they don't sit straight on the bottom of the vase.
Control vase water level regulary. Add water with flower food as necessary. If the water changes state to cloudy, replace the entire vase water with lukewarm preservative water. Change foliage that will sink under the water level in your vase. Every other day re-cut stem bottoms half inch. Fresh cut is the reason for good water uptake through the flower stem.
